WHAT'S NEW

Chapter Administration is the heart of our operations, making certain that the "business" of the organization is handled, including the treasury position. We strive to make the process of participating in the organization easier for our members. To that end, we have added some important changes:

  • No more forgetting when your membership expires, all memberships renew in January.
  • Keep your own Directory Listing and contact information current with our online update member information function.
  • Streamlined Program Registration: register for events via fax or online.

As an all volunteer professional organization, volunteer opportunities exist for people who want to complete a one-time task, or volunteer for a recurring responsibility, requiring only a few hours a month. Volunteering is a great way to get more involved.

GOALS:

Our goal is to serve our membership, simply, easily and accurately, including:

  • Form a budget committee to assist all board members follow and meet their budget objectives
  • Update board members on budget quarterly
  • Help create new ways to invest association money create value-added opportunities for our members
JOB DESCRIPTION:

VP of Chapter Administration

The VP of Chapter Administration Position will serve as an Executive Board Member. This position will be responsible for recording & updating all financial records for the Chapter, as well as maintaining the Chapter database & mailing functions.

The Chapter Administration position will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for Chapter financial record keeping.
    -Ensure the financial records of the Chapter are up to date & review at monthly board meetings.
  • Provide a quarterly & annual financial report.
    -Quarterly financial reports will be completed & presented to the board
  • Update the board on the financial status (profit/loss) of chapter events
    -Responsible for tracking the profit/loss of each Chapter event.
  • Ensure proper government reports are updated
  • Maintain membership database, as information is received from Customer Relations
  • Invoice annual dues to members, Update the Customer Relations board member of non-renewals.
  • Ensure chapter members are informed of current chapter dues renewal policies
  • Record board meetings & provide minutes to all board members
  • Maintain chapter by-laws
  • Maintain chapter supplies
