WHAT'S NEW

Latest News

The general board members are working hard to help us implement our initiatives. They are instrumental in launching our:

  • Sponsorship Program: By having sponsors for our meetings, we are able to keep the cost of meetings down for members and use membership dues to provide increased member benefits.
  • Mentor Program: The mentor program pairs novices in training and development (T&D) with experienced professionals. Novices learn the "real world" of T&D from those who have succeeded in the field. The mentors enjoy the satisfaction of sharing, while receiving some help from the mentoree.
VOLUNTEER
OPPORTUNITIES:

Get Involved!

As a non-profit organization, our volunteers not only make a difference, they make everything we do possible! Whether you are using your expert skills, learning new skills, or simply meeting other professionals in your field, volunteering for ASTD-NH is a great opportunity to be more deeply involved in your chosen profession. Please consider sparing some of your time to help the organization that helps your profession. It's a worthwhile investment!

Please contact us at volunteer@astdnh.org to get more involved! For more information on committee member responsibilities, see Committee Members.

GOALS:

The General Board Members keep the board "fresh" by bringing new ideas and perspectives to the Board each term. They provide critically valuable support to the committees on which they serve. As they train to assume an executive position in subsequent terms, they are the lifeblood of our succession plan, assuring that your ASTD-NH will continue to serve you for years to come.

  • Work on a committee
  • Support other board members in achieving their goals
  • Train to assume an executive board position (succession plan)
