This program will include lecture, PowerPoint and experiential exercises where participants will have the opportunity to practice specific coaching techniques. The workshop is ideal for trainers who are considering adding coaching to their professional services. Participants will gain an understanding of how coaching can help expand their accessibility to clients, provide customized programs, and use coaching in their training and development work. The role of coaching in training and education is gaining popularity as in important tool to meet customer needs and expectations. For example, ASTD National has a professional development certification in coaching (see http://www.astd.org/content/education/certificateProgra ms/coaching/ for more details).
